As the government keeps raising taxes and cost of living then spending a fortune on a bunch of submarines and stuffing up the NBN to give us the fastest dial up service in the world more and more of us are becoming the less fortunate ones so,so YES!

i feel yes and no.. yes infavour of the governments dumb decisions, like raising taxes , taking from retirement, raising the cost of living and expenses and schooling for our kids..if the government wants to make dumb decisions they do need to help the less fortunate who are already struggling..maybe lowering taxes at tax time allowing more in the workers pockets...then theres the no favour , if we make certain decisions on our own that effect the way we live then it is up to us to figure a way of making them work..its a yes no thing.. my mother and father never had family tax benefit ,dad worked 24/7 to provide..but back then the cost of living wasnt as crazy as it is now.. 2 litre of milk was $1.00 a loaf of bread was $0.50 and that was in the 90's..prices have come along way..i never had GST when i was little..now we do..so yes and no

The government could do more to help change a mindset that young people need to have it all even though they cannot afford it with the use of credit facilities all too readily available to them. Let's get their mind set on the idea that they get what they absolutely need AND can pay for.

I just withdraw from an ATM machine, pay bills via online banking. any coins left in my purse I put in a special project/purposes jar.
