Not long ago, I travelled to Europe and the fruit from my husband's father's village was picked ripe off the tree and i can tell you it was the best tasting fruit i have ever tasted, why? firstly because its not commercially driven and produced under the auspices of family use, so the fruit is given time to mature on the tree and picked at the correct time, not prematurely for sales expediency.Secondly, there was true labour of love in the cultivation of the land, preservation of the fruit orchards and in the care of the fruit when picking. I say let's go back to basics, it 9/10 times works.

Most Definitely. You can clearly tell the difference from an homegrown fruit to a supermarket fruit.

Fruit from the markets/growers is the best choice than shop brought. Here in Perth WA we has access to this. In abundance. Most jist sadly don't seem to be interested the 30min drive to obtain it.
