Do you think the fines for parking illegally in disabled parks is enough?

I have a disabled sticker which I use as I need the extra room to get into and out of my vehicle due to my disability. It is most frustrating to find that people without stickers are parked in the disabled car parks because they are close to the entrance. I spoke to one person and was abused and told that they were only just "popping into the shopping centre for a few minutes and couldn't find a park close enough to the entrance!" Well, they were healthy and able to walk, whereas I need a walking stick to help me walk and it nearly "kills" me to walk long distances.

Police them. Impose those fines. No Exceptions. make those Disabled parking Spaces only available for those with Disabilities or when their carer is actually transporting them. How often do we see some, more often than not, big 4WD being parked in a Disabled Spot with only the driver in it. A driver who uses the Disable parking Permit but jumps out of their tank and strolls, walks or even runs into the shops apparently every bit as capable as the rest of us. Triple the Fines. Make the Fine for anyone Parking in those spots without a Disabled passenger or very obviously personally disabled about $500. That'll put a stop to it

I don't think the fines will do much for the very selfish.

Disabled parking is just a wrought only about 5% are genuine the rest are Bull Shippers

i have a disabled parking sticker which my dr applied for. I have been attacked verbally twice for parking in the car bays even though i have a sticker because i dont look disabled. Think people also have to be more acceptable for those who have permits that might not look disabled.
