it would depend on a lot of different factors, namely, seriousness of the relationship, between you and the person you are 'getting with'. as well as, duration of 'getting with' them.

it depends on the seriuosness of the relationship, but once the relationship becomes permanent (married/Defacto) then yes, I have 2 stepchildren who I love as much as my own daughter (who my husband also thinks of her as his daughter) and all 3 of my kids have given me 4 beautiful grandsons between them. couldn't not think of them as my kids.

Very simplistic way to vote on such a complex situation but I have 4 step kids and 4 step grandchildren and I love them as they are my family...... they're dad and I have been together for almost 20 years and the youngest was 8 when we met and I've trusted them with love and respect and that's how they treat me ????
