Sorry, Whitney, but you are hardly news. Syria is in turmoil. Kids all over Africa are still starving daily. Refugee camps are bursting at the seams from real world issues. It's a sad era when so many people think more highly of MTV than BBC News or ABC News. Priorities, people!

Yes Whitney is news.Her music has provided much solace from the kind of world you describe.Who knows how many people she has helped by talking about her problems with substance abuse.Anxiety affects all of us at some stage.So maybe Whitney was affected by the plight of the world you describe..So I would just prefer to say Thank you Whitney for the times your music cheered me up.You mattered.We all matter.

I didn't like any of her songs all she did was screech.

Good Grief - Whitney Houston had a magnificent voice. Anyone who thinks she "screeched" probably thinks hip-hop is music and that Justin Bieber is a good singer.
